Located on the gorgeous and quaint Eugenia Lake, meet the cottage brought to you by The Birds Papaya.

Nestled in the trees is this (yes, pink) 4 bedroom, 2 bath cottage with vaulted ceilings and an incredible view right on the lakefront. Suited for both families and friends, this cottage is meant to take you away into a peaceful, yet fun - home away from home.

From the hot tub to the pink adirondacks and even a netted "catamaran style" dock to sun bathe on, this space was created to be a place to make memories with loved ones that will last a lifetime.

The Little Pink Cottage was featured on HGTV's Scott's Vacation House Rules! Located just over an hour away from Guelph, just under 2 hours from Toronto and 30 mins from Blue Mountain.

Located on the peaceful Eugenia Lake, in Flesherton, ON close to Beaver Valley and a short drive to Blue Mountain.

Everything you need to know before your stay.

Is the cottage pet friendly?

While we would have loved to welcome all family members furry and otherwise, we are currently not insured for pets. In addition, we would like the property to be welcoming for allergy-prone folks who are visiting. At this time, we are not pet-approved! We will update if this changes in the future. All service animals are welcome!

Is the cottage considered accessible?

Due to the slope of the property we are not considered accessible. 

What type of parking is there?

There is a steep driveway to the cottage that will fit up to 2 vehicles (single lane) and 1 spot the top. Please use parking brakes when parking as, like mentioned, it is quite a slope. Please, go slow, take your time and caution going in and out of the driveway as there are rocks and trees to avoid. There is no overflow parking in the area.

How many does the cottage sleep?

The cottage is currently licensed to sleep 10 people.

There are 4 rooms: 2 twin beds, 2 double beds and 1 king bed and additionally, 2 single pull out chairs with extra bedding should they be needed.

What type of water activities are there?

Your stay will be equipped with 2 paddleboards and 1 kayak. There are lifejackets for the following:  30lb+ child, youth, XS-2X (fits women’s 3X). There is 1 of each size in the shed for use, if you require additional please bring your own.

When using the paddleboards or kayak you MUST be wearing a PFD and a whistle (you may be fined for not wearing).

The kayak we recommend for seasoned users only. 

What's included that I won't need to pack?

During your stay you will find coffee, creamers, sugar, spices, cooking spray, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, bedding and towels.

We do not have condiments and encourage you to bring your own.

Utensils and cookware are all available for your use when visiting. 

What noise restraints does the cottage have?

We don't mean to be a wet blanket on anyone's fun, but we do have to remind everyone this is a shared lake and there are noise restraints.

Please be aware of this when a guest of the property to avoid fines. 

Is the cottage air conditioned?

We are air conditioned throughout the cottage.

Is the cottage childproofed?

The cottage is not child-proofed.

If you are concerned about any decor items being broken, feel free to move them out of reach during your stay and back in place before you leave.

Children are very welcome, we just ask that you use caution and monitor little ones for safety.

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

In order to be able to turn over the cottage for next guests, our check-in and check-out times are not flexible.

Check-out is 10am and Check-in is 4pm.

Is there wifi?

Yes there is, however it is spotty and can go in and out due to the fact we are nestled in the trees.

Is the water drinkable?

We are on well water, and suggest bringing your own drinking water to be on the safe side until we are able to issue testing.

What are the local bylaws?

Are campfires permitted?

The property is permitted to have open fires, so long as there are no open fire bans in effect. Check here (https://gh.burnpermits.com/) for any fire bans in effect. We have provided firewood in the shed, please only burn wood that is provided or any paper or cardboard garbage, nothing else. There are buckets by the shed to use for putting out fires when you are done. Please ensure all fires are fully put out. 

Do you have security cameras?

For insurance and safety purposes we do have external cameras. There are no cameras inside of the cottage.
